12-13 July The Lithuanian Youth Athletics Championships took place in Alytus on 12-12 July. Traditionally, our sports school students performed well.

Miglė Tautkutė (K. Mačėnas) won a silver medal in the long jump. Saulius Tribulaitis (Z. Balčiauskas) finished fourth in the same event among juniors.

22 July. The Baltic Youth Team Championships will take place in Valmiera on 22 July. Both Pasvalys Sports School students will defend the honour of the Lithuanian team.
