On Wednesday, the boys born in 2013 in the district's small schools competed. The boys' team from Svalios progymnasium, led by Rolandas Kondratavičius, won the ticket to the zonal competition.

In this match, three teams scored the same number of points, so the winners were determined by the goal ratio, which was the key to Svalia's victory.

On Thursday, girls born in 2010 competed in the zonal competition.

The girls' team of Joniškėlis Gymnasium, led by physical education teacher Danguolė Venskuvienė, representing the group of large schools, won with confidence:

Šiauliai Romuvos progimnasija - 3:0,

Kuršėnai Daugėlių progimnasija - 9:0.

The girls are through to the next stage - the inter-zonal competition.
