The 2025 District Veterans (+35) Basketball Tournament was held at the Pieno žvaigždžių Arena over the weekend with four teams - Krinčinas, Saločiai, Pasvalys and Agluona.

In the first semi-final, Krinčino defeated Saločis 86:81 after a hard-fought battle. In the second semi-final, Pasvalys players defeated Agluona veterans 73:62.

In the battle for third place, the Saločiai ŽŪB team confidently defeated the Agluona team 98:62 and won the bronze medal.

In the grand final, Krinčino players showed great sports form and did not leave any hope to Pasvalys team, triumphing with the score 85:55.

The top scorers of the final were D. Kasarauskas (Krinčinas) with 21 points and S. Deksnys (Pasvalys) with 20 points. These players were named MVPs of their teams. V. Kanišauskas (Saločiai) and M. Tauras (Agluona) were also awarded MVP prizes.

The tournament was full of emotions, excitement and honourable fights, and the basketball veterans proved once again that their love for this sport only grows stronger with each passing year.
