"The Pieno žvaigždžių Arena hosted the volleyball competition of the Lithuanian School Games (LGS) for girls and boys of general education schools born in 2008 and younger. The teams from Joniškės G. Petkevičaitė - Bitė, Pasvalys Petras Vileišis and Pumpėnai gymnasiums fought for the tickets to the zonal competitions.

After tough matches, the first places were won and the right to continue the fight in the zonal competition in Šiauliai was gained by the team of Joniškėlis G. Petkevičaitė - Bitė gymnasium. The boys' team was led by physical education teacher Zenius Balčiauskas and the girls' team by teacher Danguolė Venskuvienė.
